ਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਠਵਾਲਾ Karamjit Singh Gathwala
Karamjit Singh Gathwala (23 March 1951-) was born in village Narain Garh, district Sangrur (Punjab). His education is M.A. Punjabi, Hindi and English. He has seen every aspect of life closely. His father Sardar Surjit Singh was an active activist of the Lal Party formed under the leadership of Sardar Teja Singh Sutantar during the ongoing Muzaara Ghol against Biswedari in Pepsu. He was Amritdhari Singh. There were many books and scriptures related to religious and revolutionary literature to read at home, so he has a deep love for literature since childhood.
He was also the village Sarpanch for about fifteen years and also ran an educational institution in Sangrur for twenty-two years.
Since January 2011, he has been serving literature through Punjabi Kavita, and Hindi Kavita, with the help of his son Anterpreet Singh Gathwala (B.Tech. LLM).

ਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਠਵਾਲਾ (23 ਮਾਰਚ 1951-) ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਪਿੰਡ ਨਰਾਇਣ ਗੜ੍ਹ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ (ਪੰਜਾਬ) ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ । ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਐਮ.ਏ. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ, ਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੈਪਸੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਸਵੇਦਰੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਰਾ ਘੋਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਤੇਜਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਬਣੀ ਲਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਧਾਰੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਨ। ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਈ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਕਲਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਲਗਭਗ ਪੰਦਰਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਵੀ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵੀ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ।
ਜਨਵਰੀ 2011 ਤੋਂ, ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅੰਤਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਠਵਾਲਾ (ਬੀ.ਟੈਕ. ਐਲ.ਐਲ.ਐਮ) ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟਾਂ: punjabi-kavita.com ਅਤੇ hindi-kavita.com ਦੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
